Holetown Branch

The Holetown Branch Library is in St. James. Originally named Jamestown, after its benefactor, King James I of England it is the parish of the first settlement in Barbados.  Originally built in 1956, this branch was re-modeled and is located in the Holetown Government Complex on the western side of the “Holetown Monument” built to commemorate the first English landing in Barbados in 1625.  Services include: EBSCO Online, lending section for adults, children, young adults and visitors, as well as photocopying and computer services, and free Internet access. Current hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
